Agricultural Company and Farm-Stay Castellinuzza e Piuca at Greve in Chianti, Florence

Visitor who comes from afar to visit the hills of Chianti also visit the mountain territory and its small cellars.

Ours is a passion and also an art it would be sad if it became a profession our Chianti you could no longer drink.

OUR HISTORY

We are located in the heart of the Chianti Classico production area, in the municipality of Greve in Chianti, near the hamlet of Lamole, an area registered since 2018 in the National Register of Historic Landscapes recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture.

The Coccia family bought the farm in 1962, after having worked there since 1908 as sharecroppers. In 1985, from a portion of the original winery, the "Castellinuzza e Piuca" was born, run by the direct farmer Giuliano Coccia, together with his wife and two children who are passionately dedicated to agricultural activity.

Mille excuses

We went out of our way to stop here on the glowing recommendation of our bike tour guide in Firenze, and boy was he correct! The crazy winding roads up through the region have stunning views for miles. The Farm is beautiful with its olive trees and incredible scenery. The tasting menu provides many options. The wines were full of flavor, the olive oil was perhaps the best we've ever tasted; and the food was fresh, vibrant and delicious. The Family was warm and welcoming.
